研究方向

本神經化學研究室與葉本和教授實驗室共同合作研究,主要是針對一些中樞神經性藥物(如:濫用藥物、抗精神病藥物等)對活體動物腦內所造成之神經化學傳導物質濃度(包括DopamineNorepinephrineGlutamateGABA…等)在細胞外液所產生變動的研究,同時,當這些神經化學傳導物質濃度在細胞外液所產生變動後,其對動物行為及生理狀態(如血壓、心跳、感壓反射、腦電波等)的影響都是我們觀察的目標。

目前研究方向:

  1. 長期注射古柯鹼及安非他命引發大白鼠行為敏感性後中皮質邊緣多巴胺系統的變化情形。
  2. 腦中情緒區如何透過中樞神經系統調控週邊血壓的作用機制。
  3. 內前額皮質區多巴胺神經傳導對於積核多巴胺的影響及其作用機制。

未來五年內研究題目:

  1. 研究藥物濫用一段時間後,人腦內與動物腦內所造成之神經性病變與精神疾病之相關性。(國科會三年期整合型計劃)
  2. 研究腦部情緒中樞內不同種類神經細胞互相聯絡,調控之情形。
  3. 持續瞭解腦中情緒區調控身體週邊血壓之作用機制。

 


神經藥理/神經化學實驗室簡介

實驗室特色

        雖然是實驗室,學生們都戲稱它是個 " " ,因為大伙兒就像家人般融洽的相處著。這個家開放且明理,我們相信每個人都是特殊且需要被尊重的。我們從不約束任何人到達以及離開實驗室的時間,也不硬性規定每天都得出現在實驗室,所以大伙兒都能隨意規劃自己的時間、安排自己的生活作息,不需要老師的干涉。到目前為止,在這樣的氣氛之下,大家都能負起各人應負的責任、作好該作的事。這是個民主的小家庭,每個人發言的份量是一樣的,我們希望聽到所有人的聲音,尊重每個人的意見,並盡量滿足每個人的需求。

        大白鼠是我們的親密伙伴,畢竟有牠們才能讓我們對於中樞神經系統有更進一步的了解,也因為牠們的犧牲才讓我們每一年有足夠的研究成果到國際會議上發表。對了,出國可不是老師的專利喲!每個學生只要願意都可以跟老師一道出國呢!1995的日本京都、1996的美國洛杉磯、1997年的美國紐奧良、1998年的德國慕尼黑、1999年的美國邁阿密、2000年的英國倫敦、2001年的日本京都、2002年的美國舊金山、2003年的絲路之旅以及2004年香港之旅,都是老師帶著所有碩二以上學生出席會議(碩一沒去是因為手續上趕辦來不及),雖說是開會,難免還是順便遊玩了一番才返國。說真的,除非已經下定決心絕對不碰動物實驗,否則千萬不要一開始就排斥它,畢竟很多伙伴也是逐漸才適應。對了,順帶一提,實驗的設計上並不會碰到任何放射性或有毒物質。

        有些人會擔心如果以往沒有進實驗室的經驗,會不會很難進入狀況?尤其是活體實驗。或是一下子面對新事物,抓不到重點而驚慌失措?對於這點根本不用擔心,因為我們規劃出一套完善的"菜鳥"訓練計劃。當你決定進入神經藥理/神經化學實驗室以後,老師及學長姊們必定細心、耐心、負責的按步就班帶領學弟妹們走過實驗室的新生訓練課程。必須再一次強調的是,我們尊重每個人的特殊性,配合每個人學習進度,讓你逐步跨入研究的領域。因此只要肯用心、肯努力,豐碩甜美的成果非你莫屬。

 

活動

        第一個當然是每年固定出國一次,前面已經大概提過了。其次,每週固定會有一次實驗室聚會(也就是所謂的 lab meeting), 內容包括:

基本神經科學知識研討:這部分多採口頭報告方式進行,主要目的是加強大家神經科學的基本知識及相關新知的暸解。

對實驗室各項建言的提出及實驗室工作分配:在每次聚會中都有機會讓大家提出這一陣子個人碰到或發生在實驗室的問題,並共謀解決之道。對於實驗室的公共事務也會在聚會中進行工作的分配。

個人研究進度及成果的提出與討論:由於每個人所作的題目都不一樣,所以大伙兒之間有可能只是大概知道別人在作些什麼,對於詳細內容並不清楚,除此之外大伙兒之間各人的專長也可能不太一樣;針對這個現象我們在實驗室聚會時也會請伙伴提出目前研究進度及成果,一方面是讓大家對於實驗室所作的研究有通盤性的了解,另一方面也是從不同的角度給予講者建設性的意見。

        另外,每學期還有不定期的聚餐、烤肉、唱KTV等活動。
