Mission |
| Biotechnology is regarded as a new
industrial revolution in the 21st century. In
response to the drastic changes in development of the technology
in the industry, the university has established an Incubation
Center within the campus to deal with the increasingly important
relationship between academic researches of the industries.
Development of biotechnology in industry is quite a new business
in Taiwan. The critical mass of the teams for research and
development in industry is comparatively small with respect to
developed countries. In order to increase our competitiveness in
the development of biotechnology in industry, most of the
research laboratories of the universities should, inevitably,
take the responsibility to assist the industry to develop their
research and development programs. This is the main reason for
the establishment of the National Yang-Ming University
Incubation Center (YMIC). |
